Сучасні методи формування лексичної компетенції у студентів нефілологічних спеціальностей

Abstract

У статті зроблено спробу систематизувати та частково проаналізувати нетрадиційні методики вивчення іноземної мови. Предметно розглянуто метод комунікативного навчання на заняттях іноземної мови у вищих навчальних закладах нефілологічного (технічного) спрямування. Приводяться їх приклади та аналізуються основні передумови їх проведення. Розглядаються основні принципи методу комунікативного навчання, які здатні мобілізувати навчальний процес. Досліджуються засоби та форми навчання, які впливають на формування та розвиток лексичної компетенції студентів у процесі вивчення іноземної мови. In the article an attempt was made to systematize and to partially analyze non- traditional methods of studying foreign languages. Particularly is considered a method of

communicative studying at the lessons of foreign languages in higher educational establishments of non-philological (technical) character. The examples of such lessons are given as well as the main preconditions of their conducting. The main principles of communicative study are investigated, which are capable of mobilizing the studying process. The methods and forms of studying are investigated, which affect the formation and development of students’ lexical competence in the process of a foreign language learning. Special literature and methodical recommendation, concerning problems of use non- traditional methods of studying foreign languages have been studied and analyzed.

The article treats and systematizes a number of modern methods of teaching, methodical recommendations to implement a number of new non-traditional methods of teaching, as well as classical (traditional) interactive methods, which make the process of studying interesting. So, we make conclusion that the communicative method of teaching foreign languages in non-philological higher educational establishments includes not only studying a foreign language, taking into account the student’s future profession, but also a comprehensive development of students’ level of education, their ability to maintain an intercultural communication. Studying a foreign language promotes the development of a student, (his/her) self-educational potential, satisfying his or her personal interests. We have considered in the article one of the methods of modern study of foreign language, which, to our minds is efficient and provides for a high level of a foreign languages learning by students in non-philological higher educational establishments. In our future work we are planning to investigate and generalize other methods of learning foreign languages, which encourage better mastering and up-grading the students’ level of knowledge, while studying a foreign language.
