Проблеми впровадження спецкурсу «Теорія та практика реферування» для іноземних студентів немовних вишів

Abstract

Стаття розглядає деякі методичні аспекти навчання реферування іноземних студентів технічних вишів. Метою статті є визначення місця спецкурсу з реферування в навчальній програмі іноземних студентів та уточнення критеріїв відбору матеріалу. В якості основної одиниці змістового наповнення посібника визначено професійно-орієнтований науковий текст. The authors of the article examine teaching foreign students of the non-linguistic higher educational establishment to do abstracting of as an obligatory component of training and professional, training and scientific activity. Different information systems that accumulate and systemize information provide fast access to it because of the use of secondary sources of information – annotations and abstracts that are actually used as means of information communication including the communication at the international level. To increase the efficiency of teaching the language of specialty the authors offer to introduce special course “Theory and practice of making abstracts and annotations for foreign students and post-graduates” into the training process. Introduction of such a course in the non-linguistic higher educational establishment intends to solve preliminary some particular relevant methodical items. Specifically, there is an item as for the choice of the method of teaching, the determination of the place of the special course in the syllabus and text choice criteria. Taking into account communicative and competence approach to the teaching of foreign students allows determining the narrow type manual as the most efficient means of studying at the final stage of future technical specialists’ training. To specify text choice criteria the communicative occupational profile of the technical specialists was produced, final stage foreign students’ questioning was held, syllabus requirements as for teaching final stage foreign students was analyzed. All these methos allowed determining professional scientific text as a basic text component for the manual in abstracting.
