Abstract

Today the problem of intercultural interaction of specialists, especially those whose professional activity is connected with constant movement between different regions, countries, parts of the world, is urgent. They also include aviation experts, notably pilots, as they are now often employed by multicultural crews, requiring readiness for intercultural communication. Therefore, one of the main goals of higher education institutions should be the purposeful preparation of specialists for intercultural communication by acquiring knowledge of the national mentality, the world picture. To form the ability to understand the views, intentions, opinions, position of representatives of another culture, to overcome conflicts in the communication process, to ensure subject-subject interaction during communication.
