Abstract:	Methanolysis of N-chloro-N-alkoxy-N'-arylureas in the presence of silver trifluoroacetate gives the corresponding N,N-dialkoxyN'-arylureas, whereas N-chloro-N-alkoxycarbamates react with alcohols in the presence of silver trifluoroacetate to afford N,N-dialkoxy carbamates.
