Abstract: У статті розглядаються наукові погляди щодо особливостей професійного становлення фахівців, зокрема менеджерів авіаційної галузі. Відображено сутність поняття професійне становлення в залежності від особливих характеристик людини. Розглянуто процес професійного становлення менеджерів авіаційної галузі, який представляє собою багатоетапний процес навчання у системі вищої освіти. The article covers the scientific views on the peculiarities of the professional development of specialists, in particular managers of the aviation industry. The essence of the concept of professional formation is shown, depending on the special characteristics of a person. The process of professional formation of aviation industry managers is considered, which is a multi-stage process of studying in the system of higher education. Thus, in the first year, the involvement of yesterdayʼs entrant in the studentʼs life forms, adapting to the new conditions of education, is taking place. For first-year students, the behavior of adaptation is characterized by the lack of a differentiated approach to their social roles. In the first year, in the second semester students of the aviation direction receive the training "Introduction to the specialty", which allows students to familiarize themselves with the features of the future profession, its content and tasks of management, the role of managers in the management of modern enterprises. The second course is characterized by a period of intense academic activity. During this period there is general training, and the process of adaptation to the educational environment is completed. In the fourth semester, future managers of the aviation industry are undergoing technological practice, in which students deepen and consolidate their knowledge, skills and abilities in the technology of international air transportation and works. The third course is characterized by the beginning of professional specialization, students are interested in research work, through which further development and deepening of professional interests are held. Since the beginning of this period, the future specialist is being formed at the university. On the fourth year there is a production practice. Due to this practice, students develop their professional skills and ability to make the independent decisions during their professional activity in real market conditions; undergraduates mastering modern techniques, methods and tools of work in the field of their future profession; the upbringing of students needs to constantly improve their knowledge and apply them creatively in practice. Students begin to rethink theoretical training with a realistic look at the future profession. On the fifth course, clear practical guidelines for the future field of activity are being formed. Students begin to search for work, and there are more relevant values that are related to financial and family status. Students gradually move away from collective life forms of the university and tend to prefer personal and professional life.
