Формування мотивації до іншомовного спілкування як запорука професійного успіху майбутніх диспетчерів управління повітряним рухом

Abstract

У статті аналізується потреба в оволодінні іншомовною компетенцією майбутніми диспетчерами управління повітряним рухом, оскільки іноземні мови належать сьогодні до ключових кваліфікацій. У дослідженні наголошується на необхідності знань англійської мови, яка пропонує для майбутніх диспетчерів управління повітряним зі знаннями англійської мови кар’єрні можливості, що формує потужну мотиваційну базу для авіафахівців до її вивчення. The main task of the research is to describe peculiarities of motivation formation to foreign- language communication at aviation educational establishments.

Nowadays the language of profession is an integral part of air traffic controllers’ professional communication, and its proficiency is the main their task. Formedness of foreign-language communicative competence is considered to be the highest level of language mastering. A great number of foreign and native scientists, for instance T. Alekseienko, I. Zymnia, Ye. Illina, H. Kostiuk, M. Tadeieva, L. Yaremenko, Z. Diornei etc., have been trying to determine the value of motivation to foreign-language communication. Nowadays more researchers place the emphasis on the necessity of foreign languages knowledge in the sphere of aviation namely O. Akimova, I. Asmukovych, L. Herasymenko, N. Dupikova, A. Kyrychenko, Ye. Kmita, D. Macmillan, T. Malkovska, O. Moskalenko, N. Mod, V. Piven, A. Pchelinov etc. It goes without saying that for the majority of students the knowledge of native and foreign languages is

considered to be of potential value, and, they recognize this fact only in the future. Today motivators to foreign- language communication are under the influence of subjective and objective determinants which create a way to

personal well-being, that in its turn can form an interest and desire to study foreign languages resulting in professional becoming. Taking into account the fact that English is distinguished to be as «the key to the world» or «the key to Europe», it is specified as the key qualification. In spite of the fact that International Civil Aviation Organization has six official languages, English has been chosen as the international language of radiotelephony in civil aviation. In aviation sphere English is divided into three main categories namely General English, Aviation English and Radiotelephony Phraseology. We have come to conclusion that English is being improved in the process of studying at higher schools, and the analysis of necessity in the knowledge of English in professional spheres, especially the fact that knowledge of English presupposes promotion at work for air traffic controllers, makes possible to be more constructive in the motivation formation to language learning in aviation educational establishments of Ukraine.
